Derby Carbon Initiative is doing its best to mainstream this sort of sustainable resilient economic thinking by engaging with local authorities and the local LEP (known as D2N2).

LEPs, being new and supposedly engaging with businesses, councils, NGOs like chambers of commerce etc, represent an opportunity (39 of them around the country), but the 20th Century-minded folk involved with them, who don’t yet realise that the future is resource-constrained and climate impacted, may take some persuasion of your/our approaches !
